My Windows 7 is Stuck on Windows 7 Classic?!?!?!??!?!?
Okay… So I asked this question before except… everyone gave me dumb answers… so here's the story, I was trying to figure out how to make Windows 7 look like Windows vista for my friend (long story on why) but I downloaded a program that would allow me to change the appearance of my windows to look like Windows Vista, however… this program my friend game DID NOT TELL ME IT WAS ONLY FOR WINDOWS XP! so now the program isn't working correctly, I'm stuck on windows Classic mode in which… Windows Aero is no longer working… I've tried Un-installing the program, I've checked if the visual effects were on and they were… idk why or how my windows is stuck on this classic mode but I'm running out of options! everyone kept telling me to just re-installing windows! but their must be another way! theirs obviously something in my computer, somehwhere thats changing the default from Aero to classic! but where!?!?!??!?!?! please help! I can't do a system restore… well idk why but apparently it just doesn't want to! it only wants to do it from this moment now! which is when i still had this problem!

this is what I downloaded and my friend told me worked with Windows 7 (ima kill him -.-)
idc if theirs another download that can change the appearance to look like windows 7! idc! i just want the Aero theme back! I've even looked through the display settings and nothings been changed and everything is working fine!
System Restore should fix this.
you might be able to get away with it by creating a new user account.
go control panel, user accounts and family, add or remove user accounts, just make a new one.. hopefully the new account will have the old stuff back. from there just transfer the few files over from ur my documents and delete ur old account.
